An international symposium on laboratory automation using robots, Robotics and Semantic Systems for Biology 2016 (RSSB2016) – Enhance Life Science with Laboratory Automation – (Chair: Junichi Tsujii) will be held on June 25, 2016 at The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, Tokyo, Japan.
The objective of this symposium is to encourage active discussion from industry and academia, on how to create a standard language to describe experimental protocols and how to map the processes described onto operation layers of robots in order to automate biology experiments.
